Hello everyone I wanted to give a His Love and SONshine/Uganda update.:) There are many things on my heart to do this coming year!:) First I would love to get a medical missions trip to Uganda! My heart has been to contact many churches to get hopefully new people learning about Uganda and also to get monthly support for Uganda from new people!:) I am going to be adding a board for the school America side and seeing about the Uganda side soon.:) I am going to be utilizing the hisloveandsonshine email account more often so if you get an email that is from an unusual account know it is me.:) I will be having a fundraiser and soooooooo wish that we could have the ability to sell goods online and have an inventory store room. ALSO in this coming year I would love to hear your thoughts or questions that you may have about the ministry.:) WOULD you do me a HUGE favor???:) Can you friend the His Love and SONshine page?? Will you share over FB and word of mouth about the school in Uganda and how our ministry funds/keeps running a school locally run?:) Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest

Rachel GuyWhen Rachel Guy was in elementary school, she was fascinated by children in African countries; her heart was particularly drawn to children who had been orphaned. At the age of twelve, the country of Uganda became the focus of Rachel’s interest and concern when a close family friend, Nancy Wellham, invited her to join her on a mission’s trip there. It was on this trip that Rachel visited Gateway Nursery and Primary school and fell in love with the people there. Four years ago, Rachel was shocked when she was invited to start a ministry for the school. With humility and gratitude, she said, “Yes” to this unlikely adventure with God. Archives
